The Burlesque Instructor Training by BodiBlossom™ is a specialist programme designed to give you the knowledge, technique and confidence to teach empowering, beginner-friendly Burlesque classes. Going beyond choreography, you'll explore how Burlesque can encourage confidence, creativity, playfulness and self-expression, while learning to create classes that feel safe, welcoming and inclusive. Throughout the course, you'll explore the history and evolution of Burlesque alongside practical skills including: - Burlesque walks, shimmies and body rolls - Poses, turns and transitions - Floorwork and prop work - Musicality and performance - Choreography and class planning - Warm-ups and cool-downs - Teaching and breaking down movements - Adaptations for different abilities - Confidence-led instruction Your training includes online learning, practical video demonstrations, movement breakdowns, downloadable resources, reflection activities and a knowledge check. You'll be guided by Kirsty Davies, Founder of BodiBlossom™ and Creator of BlossDance™, alongside Jessica Johnson, Instructor Training Manager, with practical guidance and real-world teaching insights throughout. Prerequisite - To complete this certification, you must first successfully complete Instructor Foundations by BodiBlossom™, which covers the essential principles of safe, inclusive, confidence-led and professional instruction. After Your Training - Once certified, you can use your new skills within your own independent classes or existing business. Alternatively, you can join our optional BodiBlossom Business Membership to become a Licensed BlossDance™ Burlesque Instructor, giving you access to the BlossDance™ brand licence, additional resources, business support, marketing materials and the opportunity to list your classes on the BodiBlossom™ website.
